E.T. X Jean-Michel
When a lost alien desperately searches a way back to his home planet...in spielberg's hands, it becomes a cult family adventure. In jean-Michel's hands, the journey takes a completely different turn: an offbeat, raucous and resolutely punk reimagining of hte 1980s classic. The unlikely pairing of the film E.T and Jean-Michel's musical world transforms thif film-concert into a unique experience, where trash punk, sludge and absurd humour take centre stage without restraint. The band reimagines the film with raw energy and unapologetic self-mockery, somewhere between organised chaos and an irreverent tribute. On the programme: distorted riffs, tracks with unlikely titles, nods to punk rock culture and influences
ranging from Johnny Cash to a hyper-energised version of Blink-182. A deliberately over-the-top, joyfully off-kilter performance, delivered with complete confidence.
JEAN-MICHEL
TRASH PUNK | PISSOIR PUNK | JURASSIC PUNK
Since his early days, Jean-Michel has cultivated a strong taste for DIY, experimentation and tongue-in-cheek humour. In just a few years, the band has amassed a discography as prolific as it is unpredictable, recording in sometimes unusual conditions and prioritising creative momentum over any form of perfectionism. Their philosophy could be summed up as follows: try everything, often in a haphazard manner, always with sincerity, and turn imperfection into a true artistic signature.
