Im Jahr 2024 lenkte ein Zeitungsartikel über die Architektur der 1950er Jahre die Aufmerksamkeit von zwei Künstlern, Anne Eliayan und Christian Pic, auf die Stadt Royan. Sie entdecken eine Stadt, die reich an Kontrasten und Geschichte ist, deren Charme und Ästhetik stark von der Seele Südamerikas geprägt sind. Sie beginnen ein offenes Eintauchen in die Straßen. Während sie sich gerne verirren und die Details bestaunen, die jedem offen stehen, der den gleichen Schritt geht, haben sie eine Fotothek der ikonischen Gebäude in Frankreich sowie der diskreteren eingerichtet, die sie im Laufe dieser Spaziergänge und Wanderungen entdecken konnten. Das möchten sie mit Ihnen in dieser Ausstellung teilen, die das Programm ankündigt: Rêver Royan.

In 2024, a newspaper article on architecture from the 1950s drew the attention of two artists, Anne Eliayan and Christian Pic to the city of Royan. They discover a city rich in contrasts and history, with charm and aesthetics marked by the soul of South America. They begin a candid immersion in the streets. While they liked to get lost and marvel at the details that are offered to anyone taking the same step, they have built up a photo library of the emblematic buildings of Royan as well as those more discreet ones that they were able to discover during these walks and wanderings. This is what they wish to share with you in this exhibition that announces the program: Rêver Royan.

En 2024, un article de journal sur l’architecture des années 1950 attire l’attention de deux artistes, Anne Eliayan et Christian Pic sur la ville de Royan. Ils découvrent une ville riche de ses contrastes et de son histoire au charme et à l’esthétisme très marqués par l’âme de l’Amérique du Sud. Ils entament une immersion candide dans les rues. Alors qu’ils ont aimé se perdre et s’extasier des détails qui s’offrent à toute personne empruntant le même pas, ils ont constitué une photothèque des bâtiments emblématiques royannais comme de ceux plus discrets qu’ils ont pu découvrir au fil de ces promenades et errances.
