Dieses neue Projekt lässt sich von einem Know-how inspirieren, in dem Frankreich und Indien eine außergewöhnliche Expertise entwickelt haben: die Textilherstellung.
Von der Erde zur Haut spannt sich ein musikalischer Faden… Die Baumwollblüte, das Spinnrad, der Webstuhl, das Verknüpfen der Fäden lassen nach und nach ein Gewebe entstehen – so wie das Zusammenspiel der Stimmen Harmonie hervorbringt. Lilanoor verwebt und verflicht Traditionen, vermischt sie und lässt die Sensibilität und Technik von Stimmen aus Orient und Okzident sowie des Bharatnatyam- und des zeitgenössischen Tanzes verschmelzen, im stetigen und universellen Rhythmus traditioneller Webstühle.
„Um dieses Thema zu veranschaulichen, haben wir den Mythos der Arachne neu interpretiert, die von der eifersüchtigen Göttin Athene dazu verurteilt wurde, für ihre zu meisterhaft gewebten Stoffe die Ewigkeit im Körper einer Spinne zu verbringen. Wir haben diese Geschichte in einen üppigen Dschungel verlegt, frei von menschlicher Präsenz, mit Ausnahme der kleinen Makri, einer virtuosen Spinnerin und Tänzerin (Lakshmi Bories Lanoire), die auf der Spitze einer Baumwollblüte lebt.“
Der Bühnenraum kleidet sich in prächtige Stoffe und Stickereien und dient als Träger für Projektionen von Schatten- und japanischen Papierfiguren (Kirigami). Indische Ragas, Lieder des Dichters und Webers Kabir sowie traditionelle und barocke französische Melodien lassen Bilder und Bewegungen durch eine poetische Verbindung verschiedener Kulturen und Kunstformen entstehen.

This new project draws inspiration from a field of expertise in which France and India have developed exceptional know-how: textile making.
From earth to skin, a musical thread unfolds… The cotton flower, the spinning wheel, the loom, and the interweaving of threads gradually give rise to a fabric, just as the blending of voices creates harmony. Lilanoor interlaces and intertwines traditions, blending them and merging the sensitivity and technicality of Eastern and Western voices, as well as Bharatanatyam and contemporary dance, to the constant and universal rhythm of traditional looms.
“To illustrate this theme, we have revisited the myth of Arachne, whom the jealous goddess Athena condemned to spend eternity in the body of a spider for weaving with too much skill. We have transposed this story into a lush jungle, untouched by human presence, except for little Makri, a virtuoso spinner and dancer (Lakshmi Bories Lanoire), living atop a cotton flower.”
The stage space is adorned with rich fabrics and embroidery, serving as a support for shadow and Japanese paper-cut (kirigami) projections. Indian ragas, songs by the poet and weaver Kabir, and traditional and French Baroque melodies generate images and movement through a poetic blending of cultures and artistic forms.

Questo nuovo progetto si ispira a un sapere in cui Francia e India hanno sviluppato un’eccellenza straordinaria: la produzione tessile.
Dalla terra alla pelle si tende un filo musicale… Il fiore di cotone, il filatoio, il telaio e l’intreccio dei fili danno lentamente vita a un tessuto, così come l’unione delle voci genera armonia. Lilanoor intreccia tradizioni, le mescola e fonde la sensibilità e la tecnica di voci d’Oriente e d’Occidente, insieme alla danza Bharatanatyam e contemporanea, al ritmo costante e universale dei telai tradizionali.
«Per illustrare questo tema, abbiamo reinterpretato il mito di Aracne, che la gelosa dea Atena condannò a trascorrere l’eternità nel corpo di un ragno per aver tessuto con troppo talento. Abbiamo trasposto questa storia in una giungla lussureggiante, priva di presenza umana, ad eccezione della piccola Makri, filatrice e danzatrice virtuosa (Lakshmi Bories Lanoire), che vive sulla cima di un fiore di cotone.»
Lo spazio scenico si veste di splendidi tessuti e ricami, fungendo da supporto per proiezioni di ombre e figure giapponesi in carta (kirigami). Raga indiani, canti del poeta e tessitore Kabir e melodie tradizionali e barocche francesi generano immagini e movimenti attraverso una poetica fusione di culture e forme artistiche.

Ce nouveau projet s’inspire d’un savoir-faire pour lequel la France et l'Inde ont développé une expertise exceptionnelle: la confection textile.
De la terre à la peau, un fil musical se tend... La fleur de coton, le rouet, le métier à tisser, l’assemblage des fils entre eux font lentement naître une toile, comme l’association des voix entre elles fait naître l’harmonie. Lilanoor lace et entrelace les traditions, se métisse et fait fusionner la sensibilité et la technicité de voix d’Orient et d’Occident et de la danse Bharatnatyam et contemporaine, au rythme perpétuel et universel des métiers à tisser traditionnels.
« Afin d'illustrer cette thématique, nous avons réadapté le mythe d'Arachnée, que la jalouse déesse Athéna condamna à passer l'éternité dans le corps d'une araignée, pour avoir façonné ses toiles avec trop de talent. Nous avons transposé cette histoire dans une jungle luxuriante, vierge de toute présence humaine, à l'exception de la petite Makri, fileuse et danseuse virtuose (Lakshmi Bories Lanoire), vivant au sommet d'une fleur de coton. »
L'espace scénique revêt ses plus belles étoffes et broderies, servant de support à des projections d’ombres/marionnettes japonaises (kirigami). Raags indiens, chansons du poète et tisserand Kabir et mélodies traditionnelles et baroques françaises font naître images et mouvements à travers une association poétique de différentes cultures et formes artistiques.

Este nuevo proyecto se inspira en un saber hacer en el que Francia e India han desarrollado una experiencia excepcional: la confección textil.
De la tierra a la piel se tiende un hilo musical… La flor de algodón, la rueca, el telar y el entrelazado de los hilos dan lugar poco a poco a un tejido, del mismo modo que la unión de las voces crea la armonía. Lilanoor entrelaza tradiciones, las mezcla y fusiona la sensibilidad y la técnica de voces de Oriente y Occidente, así como la danza Bharatnatyam y la contemporánea, al ritmo constante y universal de los telares tradicionales.
«Para ilustrar esta temática, hemos reinterpretado el mito de Aracne, a quien la celosa diosa Atenea condenó a pasar la eternidad en el cuerpo de una araña por haber tejido con demasiado talento. Hemos trasladado esta historia a una jungla exuberante, sin presencia humana, salvo la pequeña Makri, hilandera y bailarina virtuosa (Lakshmi Bories Lanoire), que vive en la cima de una flor de algodón.»
El espacio escénico se reviste de ricas telas y bordados, que sirven de soporte para proyecciones de sombras y figuras japonesas de papel (kirigami). Ragas indios, canciones del poeta y tejedor Kabir, y melodías tradicionales y barrocas francesas crean imágenes y movimientos mediante una asociación poética de distintas culturas y formas artísticas.
