For this instalment of the series ‘Mapping My Way...’, Ixchel Mendoza Hernández and Marina Skalova offer a sensitive exploration of the relationships between the body and memory.

Marina Skalova, a translingual writer and poet, will offer a reflection on the body through readings of texts that overlap several linguistic and generational layers. Choreographer, performer and dancer of Mexican origin, Ixchel Mendoza Hernandez will present a solo in collaboration with sound artist Hyewon Suk. Through sound and movement, the two artists explore how we can reconstruct and reshape our realities.
‘Mapping My Way to Drifted Memories’ is the second instalment in a series of performance events aimed at further exploring the themes presented in the exhibition, including identity, memory, belonging, the body and geography.

Marina Skalova, écrivaine et poète translingue, vous proposera une réflexion autour du corps, à travers la lecture de textes où se chevauchent plusieurs couches linguistiques et générationnelles. Chorégraphe, interprète et danseuse d’origine mexicaine, Ixchel Mendoza Hernandez présentera un solo en collaboration avec l’artiste sonore Hyewon Suk. À travers le son et le mouvement les deux artistes explorent la manière dont nous pouvons reconstruire et remodeler nos réalités.
« Mapping My Way to Drifted Memories » est le second volet de la série d'événements performatifs visant à approfondir les réflexions présentées dans l'exposition autour de l'identité, de la mémoire, du sentiment d'appartenance, du corps et des géographies.
