As part of the month of Architecture Occitanie 2025: architectural visit of the reception building of the Plateau de Beille with the agency Triptyque.
Accompanied by the architect Gabriel Anger from the Triptyque agency and representatives of the project management (Community of communes of Haute Ariège), the CAUE of Ariège and the association of architects of Ariège propose to discover this exemplary architectural achievement. The visit is open to all.
This major tourist facility, dedicated to cross-country skiing and mountain activities, is located in the town of Albiès at an altitude of 1800 m, in a natural setting with panoramic views of the Pyrenees.
The restructuring project of an area of 2798 m2 includes the rehabilitation of the existing building to modernize it and bring it more comfort as well as the construction of an extension. It was designed with a sustainable development approach and obtained the Occitanie Sustainable Building label, Gold Réalisation level.
The low-consumption and energy-efficient building also meets the NoWatt specifications.
The architecture is inspired by a nearby shepherd’s hut built with the materials of the site, stone base, wooden frame and green roof: the Isarges Hut.
The design pays attention to the landscape integration of the construction in its environment as well as the implementation of local natural resources: Occitanian wood and gneiss stone.
A deconstruction and reuse approach has also been implemented to minimize the ecological impact of the project.

Dans le cadre du mois de l’Architecture Occitanie 2025 : visite architecturale du bâtiment d'accueil du Plateau de Beille avec l’agence Triptyque.
Accompagné par l’architecte Gabriel Anger de l’agence Triptyque et de représentants de la maîtrise d’ouvrage (Communauté de communes de la Haute Ariège), le CAUE de l’Ariège et l’association des architectes de l’Ariège proposent de faire découvrir cette réalisation architecturale exemplaire. La visite est ouverte à toutes et à tous.
Cet équipement touristique majeur, voué aux activités de ski nordique et de montagne, est situé sur la commune d'Albiès à une altitude de 1800 m, dans un cadre naturel bénéficiant d’une vue panoramique sur les Pyrénées.
Le projet de restructuration d’une surface de 2798 m² comprend la réhabilitation du bâtiment existant pour le moderniser et lui apporter plus de confort ainsi que la construction d’une extension. Il a été conçu dans une démarche de développement durable et a obtenu le label Bâtiment Durable Occitanie, niveau Or Réalisation.
Le bâtiment basse consommation et économe en énergie répond également au cahier des charges NoWatt.
L’architecture est inspirée d'une cabane de berger à proximité bâtie avec les matériaux du site, soubassement en pierre, ossature bois et toiture végétalisée : la Cabane des Isarges.
La conception porte attention à l’intégration paysagère de la construction dans son environnement ainsi qu’à la mise en œuvre de ressources naturelles locales : bois d’Occitanie et pierre de gneiss.
Une démarche de déconstruction et de réemploi a également été mise en place pour minimiser l’impact écologique du projet.
