At the heart of a garden of sculptures, water, stone and wind, in the immediate vicinity of the beach, the LAAC defies the sky with its amazing white ceramic architecture. Sparkling and cheerful like the pop years, it keeps a very rich collection of more than 1500 works, mirror of the years 1940–1980, among which Circus by Karel Appel, Car Crash by Andy Warhol or Valise Expansion by César, works presented alternately according to the programming of the exhibitions. A must-see space in the museum, the graphic arts office offers visitors the rare opportunity to compose their visit as they wish, by manipulating drawers and sliding furniture, and to discover nearly 200 drawings and prints from the collection.
Friendly and warm, the museum offers many fun and interactive tools for a discovery with family or friends. It also offers, throughout the year, a rich event program that combines plastic arts and living arts.
