Hotel built by the architect Jean Antoine Giral, from 1752 to 1757, with funds bequeathed to the college of surgeons by François de la Peyronnie, first surgeon of Louis XV, to serve "of amphitheater for anatomical demonstrations and housing for the assemblies of Masters in Surgery". The building comprises three parts. On the facade of the Grande Rue, a single-storey building with, on the ground floor, a portico covered with flat vaulted vaults supported by Doric columns. Forebody forming a balcony on the first floor, illuminated by arched windows between twinned pilasters. Then a rotunda covered by a dome, which was divided into two floors. Finally, a vestibule with staircase formerly in loggia and connecting the two previous building bodies.
