The bailout was an administrative, financial and judicial division. Destroyed in 1472, it was rebuilt under the reign of Louis XI in 1483 by Roger Goujon. Important personalities such as Francis I, Henry II and Henry IV stayed there. Against Dieppe, he gradually lost his functions until the Revolution of 1789\. The Maréchalerie also had the Régiment des Dragons de Beauffremont stay in 1737.
