Die Militärschule befindet sich im Herzen von Paris an einem der Enden des Champ de Mars (7. Arrdt), mit Blick auf den Eiffelturm. Sie wurde 1751 unter der Herrschaft von Ludwig XV. gegründet und wurde von Napoleon I., Königin Victoria, Napoleon III., General De Gaulle oder Papst Johannes Paul II. besucht. Sie wurde 1990 unter Denkmalschutz gestellt.
Mehr als 270 Jahre nach ihrer Gründung setzt die Militärschule ihre Mission fort: die höhere militärische Ausbildung von Offizieren.

The Military School is located in the heart of Paris at one of the ends of the Champ de Mars (7th arrdt), facing the Eiffel Tower. Founded in 1751 under the reign of Louis XV, it saw Napoleon I, who was also a student there, Queen Victoria, Napoleon III, General De Gaulle and Pope John Paul II. It was declared a historic monument in 1990.

L'École militaire si trova nel cuore di Parigi, ad una delle estremità del Champ de Mars (7e arrdt), di fronte alla Torre Eiffel. Fondata nel 1751 sotto il regno di Luigi XV, ha visto passare tra le sue mura Napoleone I che vi fu anche allievo, la regina Vittoria, Napoleone III, il generale De Gaulle o ancora il papa Giovanni Paolo II. Fu dichiarata monumento storico nel 1990.

La Escuela Militar está situada en el corazón de París en uno de los extremos del Campo de Marte (7º arrdt), frente a la Torre Eiffel.
