Der Brunnen, an dem Christus und die Samaritaine hängen, ist in Lothringen außergewöhnlich. Sie befindet sich im Hof eines italienischen Renaissance-Hauses. Charakteristisch für das erste Viertel des 17. Jahrhunderts: Die U-förmigen Gebäude, aus denen das Haus besteht, gehen südlich auf einen im 17. Jahrhundert angelegten Terrassengarten ein.
