The association Mémoire et Patrimoine de Clohars-Carnoët invites you to visit a bunker of the Atlantic Wall.
Built as part of the Atlantic Wall, the Blockhaus du Pouldu was reused by American troops and then by French fighters from the La Laïta Front during the period of the Lorient Pocket (10 August 1944 to 10 May 1945). It was notably used as a shelter against the bombardments of the German artillery of Guidel or Groix.
Enter the heart of a 775 m3 mass of concrete where men have lived through many sinister years. The historical vestige was restored identically. Artillery firing room, auxiliary rooms including the shelter for the troop, rear firing post.
The visit is enriched by a set of explanatory panels, as well as objects, weapons and period uniforms. You visit the site independently.

The association Mémoire Patrimoine Clohars-Carnoët ([https://memoirepatrimoine.wordpress.com/](https://memoirepatrimoine.wordpress.com/)) invites you to visit a bunker on the Atlantic Wall, chemin de la grenouille, at Le Pouldu. The historic vestige has been restored identically: shooting room, annex rooms, shelter for the troops, rear firing station. The Breton resistance and the battles of the Poche de Lorient are evoked. A set of panels, objects, weapons, mannequins guides the visitor independently.
