Der Säkularismus ist ein nationales Erbe, das in der Verfassung von 1958 verankert ist.
Sie ist das Ergebnis unserer Geschichte, in der die Protestanten zu entscheidenden Zeiten eine wichtige Rolle gespielt haben. Die Gesetze des Säkularismus wurden heftig diskutiert, die öffentliche Ordnung wurde möglicherweise gestört. Die Debatte hat sich in der zweiten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts beruhigt.

Secularism is a national heritage enshrined in the 1958 constitution.
It is the fruit of our history where Protestants have, at key moments, played an important role. The laws of secularism were bitterly discussed, and public order was disrupted. The debate subsided in the second half of the twentieth century.

La laicità è un patrimonio nazionale sancito dalla costituzione del 1958.
Essa è il frutto della nostra storia in cui i protestanti hanno, in momenti chiave, svolto un ruolo importante. Le leggi della laicità sono state duramente discusse, l'ordine pubblico può essere stato disturbato. Il dibattito si è placato nella seconda metà del XX secolo.

La laïcité est un patrimoine national inscrit dans la constitution de 1958.
Elle est le fruit de notre histoire où les protestants ont, à des moments clé, joué un rôle important. Les lois de la laïcité ont été âprement discutées, l’ordre public a pu être troublé. Le débat s’est apaisé dans la 2e moitié du XXe siècle.
