The Museum-Castle of Annecy, a place steeped in history and a living museum. Residence of the Counts of Geneva, military barracks, shelter for the homeless after the Second World War... Since the thirteenth century, the castle of Annecy has crossed the eras by reinventing itself. Classified as a historical monument, it has housed the city museum since 1956, rich in collections benefiting from the designation 'Musée de France', dedicated to art, history and the natural heritage of the territory. Throughout the year, temporary exhibitions, artistic events, screenings and concerts bring this iconic monument of Annecy to life.
