Die Ausstellung „Die Vorgeschichte im Apt-Land: Ein Jahrhundert der Forschung“ lädt zu einer Reise in die 130 000-jährige Geschichte der Menschheit ein.
Geologisch und klimatisch geprägt, bewahrt das Apt-Land die Spuren der ältesten Besetzungen der Region.
Der Rundgang zeigt, wie dieses Gebiet dank Pionieren wie Albert Moirenc, Frédéric Lazard und André Vayson de Pradenne zur Wiege der französischen Vorgeschichte wurde.
Von den ersten Jägern und Sammlern bis hin zu den ersten Bronzemachern zeigt die Ausstellung Gesten, Werkzeuge und Know-how und zeigt, wie Archäologen von gestern und heute die Spuren der Vergangenheit zum Ausdruck bringen.

The exhibition “Prehistory in the pays d’apt: A century of research” invites you to travel to the heart of 130,000 years of human history.
Shaped by geology and climate, the pays d’apt preserves the traces of occupations among the oldest in the region.
The course reveals how this territory became the cradle of French prehistory, thanks to pioneers such as Albert Moirenc, Frédéric Lazard and André Vayson de Pradenne.
From the first hunter-gatherers to the first bronze craftsmen, the exhibition showcases gestures, tools and know-how, and reveals how archeologists of yesterday and today make the traces of the past speak.
