Event proposed by the Centre Musical Les Arcades de Faches-Thumesnil, on the occasion International Biodiversity Day. With the participation of the European Metropolis of Lille and within the framework of the Planète Fest 2026.
This musical show, permacultural and multidisciplinary, imagined by Gael Faure around the work of the writer Jean Giono, combines literary art with that of singing and contemporary dance.
This creation, designed to be performed in places not dedicated to it, outdoors on farms, among winegrowers, and in third places, aims to highlight the nourishing earth, local heritage and stakeholders and to support the roaring awakening of consciences to the ecological emergency. The songs and the voice of the craftsman-musician Gael Faure mingle with the peasant poetry of Jean Giono and are a tribute to the earth and to those who celebrate it by the strength of their arms.

As part of the "Mai à vélo" challenge, a ride from Place Victor Hugo in Faches-Thumesnil to the Périseaux pond will be offered by the Vélos du Club Mob 👉 Registrations

Événement proposé par le Centre Musical Les Arcades de Faches-Thumesnil, à l’occasion de la Journée internationale de la Biodiversité. Avec la participation de la Métropole européenne de Lille et dans le cadre du Planète Fest 2026.
Ce spectacle musical, permaculturel et pluridisciplinaire, imaginé par Gael Faure autour de l’œuvre de l’écrivain Jean Giono, mêle l’art littéraire à celui du chant et de la danse contemporaine.
Cette création, étudiée pour être jouée dans des lieux non dédiés, en plein air dans les fermes, chez les vignerons, dans les tiers-lieux, a pour vocation de mettre à l'honneur la terre nourricière, le patrimoine et les acteurs locaux et de soutenir l’éveil grondant des consciences à l’urgence écologique. Les chansons et la voix de l’artisan-musicien Gael Faure se mêlent à la poésie paysanne de Jean Giono et sont un hommage à la terre et à ceux qui la célèbrent à la force de leurs bras.

📖 Lecture musicale
Gael Faure sera également à la médiathèque Marguerite Yourcenar (Fache-Thumesnil) le 23 mai à 16h pour une lecture musicale. Gratuit sur réservation auprès de la médiathèque.

Gebeurtenis voorgesteld door de Muzikaal centrum Les Arcades de Faches-Thumesnil , ter gelegenheid van de Internationale biodiversiteitsdag . Met de Deelname van de Europese metropool Lille en als onderdeel van de Planet Fest 2026 .
Deze muzikale, permaculturele en multidisciplinaire show, Verbeeld door Gael Faure rond het werk van de schrijver Jean Giono , combineert literaire kunst met zang en hedendaagse dans.
Deze creatie, die bestudeerd wordt om gespeeld te worden op niet-toegewijde plaatsen, buiten in boerderijen, wijnmakers, op derde plaatsen, heeft als doel om Moeder Aarde, erfgoed en lokale actoren te eren en het gerommel ontwaken van het bewustzijn voor ecologische noodsituaties te ondersteunen. De liedjes en stem van ambachtslieden Gael Faure worden vermengd met de boerenpoëzie van Jean Giono en zijn een eerbetoon aan de aarde en aan degenen die het vieren met de kracht van hun armen.

📖 Muziek afspelen
Gael Faure zal ook op 23 mei om 16 uur in de mediabibliotheek van Marguerite Yourcenar zijn voor een muzikale lezing. Gratis bij reservering in de mediabibliotheek.
