Founded 100 years ago, in 1926, the CHI Geneva (CHIG) is one of the most prestigious horse shows in the world.
Year after year, it attracts the best riders and drivers on the planet to Palexpo, the biggest indoor arena on the global circuit, boasting a floor area of nearly 5,000 square metres.
Named the world’s best horse show on ten occasions, the CHIG is one of the four majors of the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping, along with the Dutch Masters in ‘s-Hertogenbosch (NED), the CHIO Aachen (GER) and the Spruce Meadows “Masters” in Calgary (CAN).
The CHIG will be celebrating its 100 years of existence on 9-13 December. Comprising five days of international competition, one more than usual, the programme features the return of several spectacular events that have helped forge the horse show’s identity over the years. Its loyal spectators can also expect a host of new attractions and innovations, both inside and outside the Palexpo arena.

Créé voici 100 ans, en 1926, le CHI de Genève est l’un des plus prestigieux concours hippiques du monde.
Chaque année, à Palexpo, il réunit les meilleur·es cavalier·ères et meneur·ses de la planète sur la plus grande piste indoor du circuit (près de 5’000 m2).
Élu dix fois meilleur concours du monde, le CHI de Genève est l’un des quatre Majeurs du Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping, aux côtés des Dutch Masters de Bois-le-Duc (NED), du CHIO d’Aix-la-Chapelle (ALL) et des Spruce Meadows «Masters» de Calgary (CAN).
Le CHI de Genève va dignement célébrer, du 9 au 13 décembre prochain, son 100e anniversaire. Cinq jours de compétition internationale (soit un jour de plus que d’habitude !) sont au programme avec, notamment, le retour de certaines épreuves spectaculaires qui ont marqué l’identité du concours genevois. Des attractions inédites et diverses nouveautés, dans l’enceinte de Palexpo comme sur la piste, attendent par ailleurs le fidèle public de la manifestation.
