The group Hermeto’s Mothership brings together the musicians who have accompanied Hermeto Pascoal on stage and in the studio for decades and who now perform tribute concerts featuring a repertoire consisting entirely of Hermeto’s music. They form the core group that was immersed day in and day out in his Música Universal—the Maestro’s (the Campeão’s) approach that combines precise composition, collective improvisation, and bold exploration of timbres.
