For the 2026 European night of museums, the Museum of Bordeaux invites you to discover its permanent exhibition under a new light: that of the night.
Renamed for the occasion Nature seen by humans, only with a flashlight, and accompanied by a mediator, you will have the opportunity to (re)discover the extraordinary richness of the animal world. A visit that could well provide an answer to this great question: what happens in a natural history museum once the lights are off?

Pour la nuit européenne des musées 2026, le Muséum de Bordeaux vous invite à découvrir son exposition permanente sous un nouveau jour : celui de la nuit.
Rebaptisée pour l’occasion La Nature entrevue par les humains, uniquement à l’aide d’une lampe-torche, et accompagné d’un médiateur, vous aurez l’occasion de (re)découvrir l’extraordinaire richesse du monde animal. Une visite qui pourrait bien apporter une réponse à cette grande question : que se passe-t-il dans un muséum d’histoire naturelle une fois les éclairages éteints ?

Para la Noche de los Museos Europeos 2026, el Museo de Burdeos le invita a descubrir su exposición permanente bajo una nueva luz: la de la noche.
Rebautizada para la ocasión como La Naturaleza vista por los humanos, únicamente con la ayuda de una linterna y acompañada de un mediador, tendrá la oportunidad de (re)descubrir la extraordinaria riqueza del mundo animal. Una visita que bien podría dar respuesta a esta gran pregunta: ¿qué sucede en un museo de historia natural cuando se apagan las luces?
