Élisabeth and Jacques Lubet settled in 1980 on a plot then made up of marshy areas and old vines, in the heart of the Lugonnais vineyard. Significant slopes and the presence of a spring allow them to draw a garden by instilling some ideas drawn from their travels. The adventure is then lived as a family with their two sons, Christophe and Florian. The descent into the valley is carried out by taking grass paths, small stairs, paths, Japanese steps or small bridges. The murmur of water sometimes accompanies the visitor, who in turn passes through spaces open to others, on the contrary, more intimate, even secret. Plants are chosen for their foliage, texture and flowering. The gardener is particularly fond of grasses, whose graceful silhouettes contrast with those often robust of many trees and shrubs. The lush and often very graphic vegetation offers beautiful staging and a real change of scenery. Over the seasons, light plays with shadow to participate in the magic of the place.
