The museum’s collection was created in 1975\. It has been enriched by several donations from Tomi Ungerer (the last one in 2008). It now has 14,000 drawings by Tomi Ungerer, 3,500 toys from his collection, 1,600 drawings by other illustrators, as well as a library.
