Anlässlich der Museumsnacht ist das Publikum eingeladen, sich ausnahmsweise mit Frantz Wehrlé zu treffen, einem auf Kunstholztechnik spezialisierten Dekormaler, der zur Szenografie der Ausstellung Sèvres, einer Rothschild-Leidenschaft, beigetragen hat. Die Villa Ephrussi in Paris.
Durch Live-Demonstrationen und Austauschzeiten wird er die Gesten, Werkzeuge und Feinheiten dieses Know-hows enthüllen, das darin besteht, Holzarten durch Malerei fein nachzuahmen. Diese dekorative Technik, an der Schnittstelle von Kunst und Handwerk, ermöglicht es, Materialien, Texturen und visuelle Effekte einer großen Illusion nachzubilden.

On the occasion of the night of Museums, the public is invited to meet exceptionally Frantz Wehrlé, a decorative painter specializing in the technique of faux wood, who contributed to the scenography of the exhibition Sèvres, a Rothschild passion. Villa Ephrussi in Paris.
Through live demonstrations and exchange times, he will reveal the gestures, tools and subtleties of this know-how, which consists in imitating wood species with finesse through painting. In occasione della notte dei Musei, il pubblico è invitato a incontrare eccezionalmente Frantz Wehrlé, pittore decorativo specializzato nella tecnica del finto legno, che ha contribuito alla scenografia della mostra Sèvres, una passione Rothschild. Villa Ephrussi a Parigi.
