Among the most striking pieces, the museum has sculptures by Carrier Belleuse, Carpeaux, Barrias, paintings by Boutet de Monvel, Henner, Leroy, etc. Also noteworthy is a remarkable collection of graphic arts, particularly prints by Goya, Corot, Delacroix, and Manet. Fantin-Latour and Daumier as well as drawings (Doré, de Montholon, Nanteuil, Decamps, Saint Marcel, Robert-Fleury, Fromentin) but also old French, Italian and Spanish photographs (Bayard, Baldus, Molins, de Bonis, Laurent, etc.). Other collections, thanks to numerous donations from artists and individuals, have enriched the museum with decorative arts, primitive arts, popular arts and traditions, archaeology, natural history, militaria, and numismatics.
