Das Museum für Strickwaren, Mode und Industrie eröffnet ein neuartiges Projekt, das Kreation und Textilkunst miteinander verbindet.
Es vereint Studierende des London College of Fashion, der Newlyn Art School und des Lycée Saint Joseph in Troyes.
Diese vom bildenden Künstler Jérémie Marié konzipierte Ausstellung untersucht, wie textile, architektonische und kulturelle Fragmente zum Motor eines kreativen Denkens werden können.
Die Studierenden entwickeln einen Prozess, bei dem die Transformation des Materials sowohl Kleidungsstücke als auch Kunstwerke hervorbringt. Sie denken die Faser neu, fügen textile Fragmente zusammen, verfremden sie und lassen sie miteinander in Dialog treten, um zeitgenössische, hybride und einzigartige Formen zu entwerfen.
Diese Ausstellung ist in der Geschichte der Troyer Strickwarenindustrie verankert und spiegelt zugleich ihre Gegenwart und Modernität wider.

The Museum of Knitwear, Fashion and Industry is launching an original project combining creative practice and textiles.
It brings together students from the London College of Fashion, Newlyn Art School, and Lycée Saint Joseph in Troyes.
Conceived by visual artist Jérémie Marié, this exhibition explores how textile, architectural, and cultural fragments can become the driving force of creative thinking.
The students develop a process in which the transformation of materials gives rise to both garments and artworks. They rethink fiber, assembling, diverting, and creating dialogue between textile fragments to imagine contemporary, hybrid, and distinctive forms.
This exhibition is rooted in the history of Troyes’ knitwear industry while also reflecting its present and modernity.

Gli studenti sviluppano un processo in cui la trasformazione della materia dà origine sia a capi d’abbigliamento sia a opere artistiche. Ripensano la fibra, assemblano frammenti tessili, li reinterpretano e li mettono in dialogo per immaginare forme ibride contemporanee e singolari.
Questa mostra si inserisce nella storia della maglieria di Troyes, riflettendone al contempo l’attualità e la modernità.

Les étudiants développent un processus où la transformation de la matière fait émerger à la fois des pièces vestimentaires et des oeuvres artistiques. Ils repensent ici la fibre, les fragments textiles qu’ils assemblent, détournent et font dialoguer pour imaginer des formes hybrides contemporaines et singulières.
Cette exposition s’inscrit dans l’histoire de la bonneterie troyenne, son actualité et sa modernité.

Los estudiantes desarrollan un proceso en el que la transformación de la materia da lugar tanto a prendas como a obras artísticas. Replantean la fibra, ensamblan fragmentos textiles, los desvían y los hacen dialogar para imaginar formas híbridas contemporáneas y singulares.
Esta exposición se inscribe en la historia de la industria textil de Troyes, así como en su actualidad y modernidad.
