Visit the former studio of the painter, ceramist and decorator Vendéen Henry Simon to dive into his artistic universe. Visit the Bourrine, this typical marsh construction housed the workshop of Henry Simon. It allows today to discover the great thematic and stylistic periods that characterize his work, and the reconstitution of his workshop. The permanent exhibition continues in the Fine Arts Resource Centre. It offers a space for consultation and reading, as well as the discovery of a film tracing the life and work of Henry Simon. The garden allows you to learn more about the decorations produced by Henry Simon (enamelled stoneware, fresco...). Enjoy the shade of the apple tree for a break. The annual program of the site revolves around two exhibitions: an artist’s residence followed by an exhibition, and then a thematic exhibition dedicated to the works of Henry Simon. Guided tours, meetings, art workshops, conferences and shows for the whole family are scheduled throughout the year.
