As part of the protection of biodiversity, beehives were installed in 2016 in a security perimeter next to the 'Jardin Retrouvé'. The purpose of the bee yard is to pollinate the surrounding fauna and flora. A beekeeper is present at certain events for the educational component with young audiences. The harvested honey is sold in the castle shop.
