The church of Saint-Pierre, in Tréflévénez, dates from the 15th century and is located in the center of the small rural village with a landscape open to a virgin nature of constructions. It underwent several modifications, including an enlargement in the 17th century and the addition of a polygonal chevet and sacristy in the 18th century. The diversity of materials used, such as the Logonna stone and the Kersanton, as well as its current layout make it an original building. You can admire the original and contemporary polychromy of the vault and sand pits, as well as the creation in 2005 of a Way of the Cross in the form of paintings made directly on the interior walls. These contemporary creations are the work of the painter Valentin Scarlatescu. The artist continues his creations today by completing his frescoes and writings on the starry vault.
