Free route of historical panels
At 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., the association Danceries Mundia will offer an activity about the history of dance in the Middle Ages.
Through demonstrations, anecdotes and public participation, discover how medieval dances reflected the society of their time: the relationship between men and women, popular traditions, the influence of the clergy, ancient rites and changing lifestyles. The dancers, dressed in costumes inspired by several centuries of history, will bring to life a living heritage often unknown.
This interactive presentation will also allow the public to learn a few steps of dance and explore the fascinating links between culture, society and heritage.

Built from 1576 on the initiative of Cardinal Charles I of Bourbon, Archbishop of Rouen, for the use of the Chartreux monks of Bourbon-lez-Gaillon, this chapel has a crypt, unique in the world, reproducing in the same dimensions that of the grotto of the Basilica of the Nativity of Bethlehem in Judea.
In the 2000s, the chapel suffered damage and vandalism.
In 2022, the new owner of the 17-hectare plot opens his domain to visitors.
In 2023, an association "L'Étoile de Bethléem" is created by local heritage enthusiasts with the aim of promoting, contributing to the safeguarding and restoration of the chapel and its crypt in agreement with the owners.
