Enjoy a guided tour to learn more about André Derain, co-founder of fauvism, with Geneviève Taillade, great-niece of the artist. Visiting the house, you will discover drawings, some oils on canvas and reproductions of lithographs recently acquired. The painter’s studio has been restored as it is, a true entry into his world, in complete authenticity.

André Derain, creator of Fauvism alongside Matisse and Vlaminck, lived in the residence 'La Roseraie' in Chambourcy from 1936 to 1954\.
Today property of the city of Chambourcy, the house hosts many events: visit of the painter’s studio, restored in its current state, exhibitions or concerts.
