Diese Ausstellung, die Marie-Caroline de Bourbon-Siciles, Herzogin von Berry und einer bedeutenden historischen Persönlichkeit gewidmet ist, wirft ein neues Licht auf das Leben jener, die eine wahre "französische Maria Stuart" war. Achtzehn Jahre nach der Pionierausstellung Entre Cour et Jardin. Marie-Caroline, Herzogin von Berry, ist um "bewegende Bilder" herum aufgebaut, symbolische Stationen des Mythos der Herzogin von Berry. Eine Zusammenkunft von Gemälden, Drucke, Möbeln und Kunstgegenständen zeigt, wie sich der Werdegang und die Legende um diese Frau gebildet haben; Wie sie es dank ihres Bildes verstand, sich selbst Konventionen auszuhandeln und ihr Schicksal zu gestalten, in einer Zeit, in der das Schicksal der Frauen in ihrem Rang von anderen bestimmt wurde.

Dedicated to Marie-Caroline de Bourbon-Siciles, Duchess of Berry, a prominent historical figure, this exhibition sheds new light on the life of one who was a true "French Mary Stuart". Eighteen years after the pioneering exhibition Entre Cour et Jardin. Marie-Caroline, Duchess of Berry, she revolves around "moving pictures", symbolic stations of the myth of the Duchess of Berry. A collection of paintings, engravings, furniture, and objets d'art shows how the story and legend surrounding this woman were formed; how she knew, thanks to her image, how to play with conventions and forge her destiny, at a time when the fate of women in her position was shaped by others.

Dedicata a Maria Carolina di Borbone-Sicilia, duchessa di Berry, figura storica di primo piano, questa mostra offre un'illuminazione inedita sulla vita di quella che fu una vera e propria "Maria Stuarda francese". Diciotto anni dopo la mostra pionieristica Entre Cour et Jardin. Maria Carolina, duchessa di Berry, si articola attorno a "quadri commoventi", stazioni simboliche del mito della duchessa di Berry. Un incontro di dipinti, incisioni, mobili e oggetti d'arte mostra come si sono formati il percorso e la leggenda intorno a questa donna; come ha saputo, grazie alla sua immagine, giocare le convenzioni e forgiare il suo destino, in un'epoca in cui quello delle donne del suo rango era tracciato da altri.

Consacrée à Marie-Caroline de Bourbon-Siciles, duchesse de Berry, personnage historique de premier plan, cette exposition apporte un éclairage inédit sur la vie de celle qui fut une véritable « Marie Stuart française ». Dix-huit ans après l’exposition pionnière Entre Cour et Jardin. Marie-Caroline, duchesse de Berry, elle s’articule autour de « tableaux émouvants », stations symboliques du mythe de la duchesse de Berry. Une réunion de peintures, de gravures, de mobilier et d’objets d’art montre comment se sont constitués le parcours et la légende autour de cette femme ; comment elle a su, grâce à son image, se jouer des conventions et forger son destin, à une époque où celui des femmes de son rang était tracé par d’autres.

Dedicada a María Carolina de Borbón-Sicilia, duquesa de Berry, figura histórica de primer plano, esta exposición aporta una nueva luz sobre la vida de aquella que fue una verdadera "María Estuardo francesa". Dieciocho años después de la exposición pionera Entre Corte y Jardín. María Carolina, duquesa de Berry, se articula en torno a «cuadros conmovedores», estaciones simbólicas del mito de la duquesa de Berry. Una reunión de pinturas, grabados, muebles y objetos de arte muestra cómo se formaron el recorrido y la leyenda en torno a esta mujer; cómo supo, gracias a su imagen, jugar convenciones y forjar su destino, en una época en la que el de las mujeres de su rango estaba marcado por otros.
