In Japan seit dem 6. Jahrhundert eingeführt, ist Weihrauch, insbesondere das wertvolle Agarholz, im Zentrum dieser Praxis, die neben Tee und Ikebana einen ästhetischen und spirituellen Weg verkörpert. Koh-do lädt zu einem sinnlichen und meditativen Erlebnis ein, bei dem der Duft zu einem Mittel wird, um Ruhe und Präsenz zu erreichen.
Die Konferenz wird von Eriyo Watanabe, dem Meister des Weihrauchs und Gründerin der Renshin-Schule, moderiert. Sie wird auch über das Lotus Peace Project und die zeitgenössische Bedeutung dieser Kunst sprechen.
