La Fabrique des Illusions has been installed since 2020 on the roofs of the industrial city Mozinor, in the building of the "Soucoupe", where is located the workshop of Véronique Bourgoin, and the sound laboratory of Jeanne Susin. The pioneering architecture of Mozinor, designed in 1970 by the architects Claude Le Goas and Gilbert-Paul Bertrand, presents itself as a real concrete castle. This emblematic work is an experience of the innovative spirit of the 1970s, embodying the beginnings of reflections on the consequences of unlimited urban expansion and symbolizing an ecological utopia. Its wide vegetated terraces, its cosmic modules, and its panoramic roof, which hosted the first evenings of electronic music in the 1990s, as well as its famous saucer, high place of the Parisian nights of the 1980s, inspired the creation of a three-day event, designed as a gateway for a journey through time.
