EVA Frauenchor bietet eine Begegnung zwischen zwei scheinbar entfernten, aber tief miteinander verbundenen musikalischen Welten: die traditionelle und die gelehrte Musik.
Von Estland über Mitteleuropa bis nach Armenien werden Sie die Vitalität der Tänze, die Ausdruckskraft der Volksmusik und ihre Emotionen lieben.
Brahms, Tormis, Bartok, Kodaly und Komitas haben es verstanden, den Reichtum des traditionellen musikalischen Erbes ihres Landes und darüber hinaus zu bewahren und in die Gegenwart einzutragen.
Bartók und Kodaly, die als Ethnographen auftraten, sammelten Volksmusik aus Mitteleuropa, um sie in ihre Kompositionen zu übertragen. Johannes Brahms bietet Stücke an, die direkt von Volksliedern inspiriert sind; Tormis lässt die Lieder der vergessenen finno-ugrischen Völker wieder aufleben.

EVA Women’s Choir offers a meeting between two musical worlds seemingly distant but deeply connected: traditional music and art music.
From Estonia to Central Europe to Armenia, you will love the vitality of dances, the expressiveness of popular music, carrying emotions.
Brahms, Tormis, Bartok, Kodaly and Komitas have been able to safeguard the richness of their country’s traditional musical heritage and beyond, and inscribe it in the present.
Bartok and Kodaly, ethnographers in their approach, collected popular music from Central Europe to transcribe it into their compositions. Johannes Brahms offers pieces directly inspired by popular songs, Tormis revives the songs of forgotten Finno-Ugric peoples.

Bartok e Kodaly, come etnografi, hanno raccolto la musica popolare dell'Europa centrale per trascriverla nelle loro composizioni. Johannes Brahms propone pezzi direttamente ispirati a canzoni popolari, Tormis fa rivivere i canti dei popoli dimenticati finno-ugriani.
