Floating stage, hybrid cultural space, major architectural object in symbiosis with the river: the theater L'Île Ô invites itself on the Rhône. New equipment of the Berges du Rhône, the theater L'ÎLE Ô marks in an emblematic way the urban dynamism, cultural and environmental. L'ÎLE Ô contributes to the attractiveness of Lyon and its metropolitan area for the coming years. This structure, unprecedented in architectural and technical plans, has been hosting an artistic, event-based, citizen-oriented and educational project dedicated primarily to the awakening and training of children and young people in theatre. The theater L'ÎLE Ô is spread over several spaces, including some modular, to accommodate all the activities of the place: 6 volumes 3 levels 2 theaters of 78 and 244 seats suitable for PMR 240 m2 of flexible spaces distributed on 3 levels for catering, artistic workshops, professional training and corporate events A rooftop of 130 m2

Toegang

L'Île Ô is easily accessible via public transport in Lyon and is located a 10-minute walk from Perrache Station (metro line A access), TRAM T1, stop Quai Claude bernard TRAM T2, stop Centre Berthelot Ligne TCL n°34, stop Pont Gallieni Station Vélo'V at 4 minutes on foot. Bike park on the banks.
