Diese ehemalige Festung vor dem Hundertjährigen Krieg verteidigte das Dorf La Gadelière an der Grenze zwischen dem Königreich Frankreich und dem Herzogtum Normandie. Aus dem alten Dorf stammt die Kirche vor dem 15. Jahrhundert, ein kleines Haus aus dem 13. Jahrhundert und seine ursprünglichen Brotbacköfen, der Bauernhof aus dem 19. Jahrhundert und der achteckige Taubenbaum aus dem späten 16. Jahrhundert.
Der Besuch des Château de la Gadelière bemüht sich, die architektonische Entwicklung einer mittelalterlichen Festung den Zwängen des modernen Wohnens anhand eines Modells und von Erklärungen zu zeigen.
Ein Rundgang durch alte Bäume wird bis zu einer Linde angeboten, die als "Bemerkenswerter Baum" ausgezeichnet ist.

This former stronghold prior to the Hundred Years' War defended the village of La Gadelière on the border between the Kingdom of France and the Duchy of Normandy. From the old village remains the pre-15th century church, a small house of the 13th and its original bread ovens, the farm of the 19th and the octagonal dovecote of the end of the 16th.
The visit of the Château de la Gadelière attempts to show the architectural evolution of a fortified place from the Middle Ages to the constraints of modern habitation by means of a model and explanations.
A route of ancient trees is proposed up to a linden tree labeled "Remarkable Tree".

Questa antica fortezza precedente alla guerra dei cent'anni difendeva il villaggio di La Gadelière al confine tra il Regno di Francia e il Ducato di Normandia. Dell'antico borgo rimane la chiesa precedente al XV secolo, una piccola casa del XIII e i suoi forni a pane originali, la fattoria del XIX secolo e il pignone ottagonale della fine del XVI secolo.
La visita del castello della Gadelière si sforza di mostrare l'evoluzione architettonica di una fortezza medievale ai vincoli dell'abitare moderno attraverso un modello e spiegazioni.
Un percorso di alberi antichi è proposto fino a un tiglio etichettato "Albero notevole".

Cette ancienne place forte antérieure à la Guerre de Cent Ans défendait le village de La Gadelière à la frontière entre le Royaume de France et le Duché de Normandie. De l’ancien village demeure l’église antérieure au XVᵉ siècle, une petite maison du XIIIᵉ et ses fours à pain d’origine, la ferme du XIXᵉ et le pigeonnier octogonal de la fin du XVIᵉ.
La visite du Château de la Gadelière s’efforce de montrer l’évolution architecturale d’une place-forte du Moyen Age aux contraintes de l’habitation moderne au moyen d’une maquette et d’explications.
Un parcours d'arbres anciens est proposé jusqu'à un tilleul labélisé "Arbre remarquable".

Esta antigua plaza fuerte anterior a la Guerra de los Cien Años defendía el pueblo de La Gadelière en la frontera entre el Reino de Francia y el Ducado de Normandía. Del antiguo pueblo queda la iglesia anterior al siglo XV, una pequeña casa del siglo XIII y sus hornos de pan originales, la granja del siglo XIX y el palomar octogonal de finales del siglo XVI.
La visita al Château de la Gadelière intenta mostrar la evolución arquitectónica de una plaza fuerte de la Edad Media a las limitaciones de la vivienda moderna mediante un modelo y explicaciones.
Se propone un recorrido de árboles antiguos hasta un tilo etiquetado como "Árbol notable".
