Obviously, the memory of these mills had completely fallen into oblivion. But the oldest inhabitants of the village remembered that the building that housed the large mill had served as a slaughterhouse until the war, that the serve (the tank that supplied water to the mills) had remained in water until the consolidation and that the women used to wash their clothes in the laundry of "the great fountain".
Intrigued by this information, the members of the association Vassieux and its heritage - VESPA decide to have the truth. In 2016, they began to identify the site and found it clearly visible on the cadastral map of 1830\. Some time later, they rediscover the remains of the large mill and begin to identify its walls. The remains of the small mill, on the other hand, have completely disappeared. Then it is the washhouse that finds its stones.
