Elisa, 18, is chosen for a journey to the "North"—a distant, mysterious land that everyone dreams of. Although she is among the few able to leave her impoverished neighborhood, she harbors a doubt: no one has ever returned from this idealized place. Set against a neo-futuristic backdrop, this dystopian coming-of-age story unfolds a powerful postcolonial metaphor.

Elisa, 18 ans, est choisie pour un voyage vers le « Nord », une terre lointaine et mystérieuse dont tout le monde rêve. Parmi les rares à pouvoir quitter leur quartier précaire, elle nourrit pourtant un doute : personne n’est jamais revenu de ce lieu idéalisé. Dans un décor néo-futuriste, ce récit d’apprentissage dystopique déploie une puissante métaphore postcoloniale.
