Ein Fenster öffnet sich, durch das wir mit Vorsicht die Motive einer kollektiven historischen Amnesie erkennen können, die sich auf dem Schlachtfeld zwischen individuellen Vorstellungen und ideologischem Willen bildet."
Anfang der 2000er Jahre begannen Katharina Roters und József Szolnoki gemeinsam forschungsbasierte Arbeiten zu entwickeln, die sich mit den oft widersprüchlichen Konstellationen des individuellen und kollektiven Gedächtnisses auseinandersetzten, insbesondere mit den Mechanismen des Vergessens. Präsentiert auf der Ausstellung Hack the Past! (2016) in Győr und Veszprém - das Formen der Reenactment und Interventionen im öffentlichen Raum integrierte - und 2019 in der Ausstellung Wunderblock im MODEM in Debrecen vertieft, findet dieser Zyklus hier seinen Abschluss. Diese Ausstellung wurde anlässlich des 70. Jahrestages der Revolution von 1956 gezeigt.

«The micro-stories folded in on themselves are reconfigured as elements of a great story. A window opens, through which we can glimpse, with caution, the motives of a collective historical amnesia that forms in the battlefield between individual imaginations and ideological will.”
In the early 2000s, Katharina Roters and József Szolnoki began to develop research-based works together, exploring the often contradictory configurations of individual and collective memory, and in particular the mechanisms of forgetting. Presented at the exhibition Hack the Past! (2016) in Győr and Veszprém—which integrated forms of re-enactment and interventions in public space—then deepened in the exhibition Wunderblock at the MODEM in Debrecen in 2019, this cycle finds its culmination here. This exhibition was created on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the 1956 revolution.

Si apre una finestra attraverso la quale possiamo intravedere, con cautela, i motivi di un'amnesia storica collettiva che si forma sul campo di battaglia tra gli immaginari individuali e la volontà ideologica.
All'inizio degli anni 2000, Katharina Roters e József Szolnoki hanno iniziato a sviluppare insieme opere basate sulla ricerca, esplorando le configurazioni spesso contraddittorie della memoria individuale e collettiva, e in particolare i meccanismi dell'oblio. Presentato alla mostra Hack the Past! (2016) a Győr e Veszprém - che integrava forme di re-enactment e interventi nello spazio pubblico - poi approfondito nella mostra Wunderblock al MODEM di Debrecen nel 2019, questo ciclo trova qui il suo culmine. Questa mostra è stata realizzata in occasione del 70o anniversario della rivoluzione del 1956.

Au début des années 2000, Katharina Roters et József Szolnoki ont commencé à développer ensemble des œuvres fondées sur la recherche, explorant les configurations souvent contradictoires de la mémoire individuelle et collective, et en particulier les mécanismes de l’oubli. Présenté lors de l’exposition Hack the Past! (2016) à Győr et Veszprém — qui intégrait des formes de re-enactment et d’interventions dans l’espace public — puis approfondi dans l’exposition Wunderblock au MODEM de Debrecen en 2019, ce cycle trouve ici son aboutissement. A principios de la década de 2000, Katharina Roters y József Szolnoki comenzaron a desarrollar juntos obras basadas en la investigación, explorando las configuraciones a menudo contradictorias de la memoria individual y colectiva, y en particular los mecanismos del olvido. Presentado en la exposición Hack the Past! (2016) En Győr y Veszprém -que integraba formas de re-enactment e intervenciones en el espacio público- luego profundizado en la exposición Wunderblock en el MODEM de Debrecen en 2019, este ciclo encuentra aquí su culminación.
