Anlässlich des 200-jährigen Jubiläums der Fotografie stellt der Künstler Hito Steyerl die Situation der Fotografie angesichts der durch künstliche Intelligenz induzierten Entwicklungen dar. Dieses partizipative Forschungsprojekt untersucht, wie künstliche Intelligenz und ihre digitalen Vorläufer, die auf Algorithmen basieren, zur Umwälzung der Berufe in der Fotografie beitragen. Basierend auf Interviews mit Bildprofis aus der ganzen Welt, erfasst und analysiert die Künstlerin diese technologischen Veränderungen und ihre politischen, wirtschaftlichen und sozialen Implikationen in einer einzigartigen Ausstellung, die zu diesem Anlass konzipiert wurde.

On the occasion of the Bicentenary of Photography, the artist Hito Steyerl draws up an inventory of the place of photography in the face of the evolutions induced by artificial intelligence. This participatory research project questions the way in which artificial intelligence and its digital precursors, based on algorithms, contribute to the upheaval of photography professions. Based on interviews with image professionals from around the world, the artist apprehends and analyzes these technological changes and their political, economic, and social implications in a unique exhibition conceived for this occasion.

In occasione del Bicentenario della fotografia, l'artista Hito Steyerl fa il punto sulla fotografia rispetto alle evoluzioni indotte dall'intelligenza artificiale. Questo progetto di ricerca partecipativa esamina il modo in cui l'intelligenza artificiale e i suoi precursori digitali, basati su algoritmi, contribuiscono a rivoluzionare le professioni della fotografia. Basandosi su interviste con professionisti dell'immagine di tutto il mondo, l'artista afferra e analizza queste trasformazioni tecnologiche e le loro implicazioni politiche, economiche e sociali, in una mostra inedita, pensata per questa occasione.

À l’occasion du Bicentenaire de la Photographie, l’artiste Hito Steyerl dresse un état des lieux de la photographie face aux évolutions induites par l’intelligence artificielle. Ce projet de recherche participatif interroge la manière dont l’intelligence artificielle et ses précurseurs numériques, fondés sur des algorithmes, contribuent au bouleversement des métiers de la photographie. Se basant sur des entretiens avec des professionnels de l’image du monde entier, l'artiste appréhende et analyse ces mutations technologiques et leurs implications politiques, économiques et sociales, dans une exposition inédite, pensée à cette occasion.

Con motivo del Bicentenario de la Fotografía, el artista Hito Steyerl hace un balance de la fotografía frente a las evoluciones inducidas por la inteligencia artificial. Este proyecto de investigación participativa analiza cómo la inteligencia artificial y sus precursores digitales, basados en algoritmos, contribuyen a revolucionar las profesiones de la fotografía. Basándose en entrevistas con profesionales de la imagen de todo el mundo, el artista aborda y analiza estas mutaciones tecnológicas y sus implicaciones políticas, económicas y sociales, en una exposición inédita pensada para esta ocasión.
