Die Ausstellung ist der Fotografie, den Männern und Frauen, die sie getragen haben, sowie ihrem Beitrag zur Geschichte des Départements Nièvre et Nivernais gewidmet. Es werden wenig bekannte fotografische Bestände sowie die Arbeiten der zahlreichen Fotografen präsentiert, die in der Nièvre gearbeitet haben. Einige von ihnen, Postkartenverleger, haben einen unauslöschlichen Eindruck für den heutigen Historiker wie für jedes Publikum hinterlassen, das an der Suche nach ikonographischen Spuren der Vergangenheit interessiert ist.

The exhibition is devoted to photography, the men and women who wore it and its contribution to writing and telling the history of the department of Nièvre and Nivernais. Little-known photographic backgrounds are presented as well as the work of the many photographers who worked in the Nièvre. Some of them, publishers of postcards, have left an indelible imprint for the historian today as for any public interested in the search for iconographic traces of the past.

La mostra è dedicata alla fotografia, agli uomini e alle donne che l'hanno portata e al suo contributo per scrivere e raccontare la storia del dipartimento di Nièvre et des Nivernais. Vengono presentati fondi fotografici poco conosciuti e il lavoro di numerosi fotografi che hanno lavorato nella regione di Nièvre. Alcuni di loro, editori di cartoline, hanno lasciato un'impronta indelebile per lo storico di oggi come per qualsiasi pubblico interessato alla ricerca delle tracce iconografiche del passato.

L'exposition est consacrée à la photographie, aux hommes et aux femmes qui l’ont portée et à son apport pour écrire et raconter l’histoire du département de la Nièvre et des Nivernais. Des fonds photographiques peu connus sont présentés ainsi que le travail des nombreux photographes qui ont œuvré dans la Nièvre. Certains d’entre eux, éditeurs de cartes postales, ont laissé une empreinte indélébile pour l’historien d’aujourd’hui comme pour tout public intéressé par la recherche des traces iconographiques du passé.

La exposición está dedicada a la fotografía, a los hombres y mujeres que la han llevado y a su contribución para escribir y contar la historia del departamento de Nièvre et des Nivernais. Se presentan fondos fotográficos poco conocidos así como el trabajo de los numerosos fotógrafos que han trabajado en la región de Nièvre. Algunos de ellos, editores de postales, han dejado una huella indeleble para el historiador de hoy y para todo público interesado en la búsqueda de las huellas iconográficas del pasado.
