Dieses Treffen hinterfragt die Herausforderungen der Kriegsfotografie innerhalb von Institutionen, in Frankreich wie auch international, durch ihre Nutzung als Produktion, Zirkulation und Verbreitung.
Mit dem Titel "Produktion, Verbreitung, Verbreitung. Die Herausforderungen der Kriegsfotografie", dieses Treffen richtet sich an die Institutionen, die seit dem 19. Jahrhundert die Fotografie bewahren, nutzen und verbreiten. Das vorgeschlagene Thema stellt eine direkte Frage: Frankreich hat euch die Fotografie geschenkt, ihr seid ihre Hüter und Nutzer. Wie habt ihr sie bewahrt, gerettet, in Auftrag gegeben, verbreitet und aufgewertet - vom 19. bis zum 21. Jahrhundert? Diese Fragestellung lädt zum Nachdenken über die Rolle der Institutionen sowohl bei der Bewahrung als auch bei der Weitergabe von Kriegsfotografien, von ihrer Produktion bis zu ihrer Verbreitung in Frankreich und international ein; nur in der Entwicklung einer Vermögensplanung und einer kulturellen Expertise des Personals. Erfahrungsberichte von Nutzern wie Historikern oder Journalisten werden die Reflexion bereichern.
Konzeption, Organisation:
Das Kolloquium wird von zwei Akademikerinnen, Fotohistorikerinnen, vorgeschlagen:
- Françoise Denoyelle, Professorin an den emeritierten Universitäten ENS Louis-Lumière, assoziierte Forscherin am Zentrum für Sozialgeschichte der zeitgenössischen Welten (Universität Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne/CNRS), Autorin von etwa dreißig Büchern, darunter Fotografie von Nachrichten und Propaganda unter dem Vichy-Regime (CNRS Éditions, 2003), Arles, die Begegnungen der Fotografie. 50 Jahre Geschichte (La Martinière, 2019) , Die Fotoagenturen. This meeting questions the stakes of war photography within institutions, in France and internationally, through its uses of production, circulation, and distribution.
Entitled "Production, circulation, diffusion. The stakes of war photography", this meeting is addressed to institutions that preserve, use and disseminate photography since the 19th century. The proposed theme raises a direct question: France offered you photography, you who are its guardians, its users, how did you preserve it, save it, commission it, distribute it, enhance it from the 19th to the 21st century? This question invites us to reflect on the role of institutions in the conservation and transmission of war photography, from its production to its circulation, both in France and internationally; than in the development of heritage engineering and cultural expertise among staff. Testimonies from users, such as historians or journalists, will enrich the reflection.

The conference is proposed by two academics, historians of photography:

Questo incontro interroga le sfide della fotografia di guerra all'interno delle istituzioni, in Francia e a livello internazionale, attraverso i suoi usi di produzione, circolazione e diffusione.
Intitolato "Produzione, circolazione, diffusione. Le sfide della fotografia di guerra", questo incontro si rivolge alle istituzioni che conservano, utilizzano e diffondono la fotografia dal XIX secolo. Il tema proposto pone una domanda diretta: la Francia vi ha offerto la fotografia, voi che ne siete i custodi, gli utenti, come l'avete conservata, salvata, ordinata, diffusa, valorizzata dal XIX al XXI secolo? Questo interrogativo invita a riflettere sul ruolo delle istituzioni sia nella conservazione che nella trasmissione della fotografia di guerra, dalla sua produzione fino alla sua circolazione, in Francia e all'estero; che nello sviluppo di un'ingegneria patrimoniale e di una competenza culturale del personale. Testimonianze di utenti, come storici o giornalisti, arricchiranno la riflessione.

Cette rencontre interroge les enjeux de la photographie de guerre au sein des institutions, en France comme à l’international, à travers ses usages de production, de circulation et de diffusion.
Intitulée "Production, circulation, diffusion. Les enjeux de la photographie de guerre", cette rencontre s’adresse aux institutions qui conservent, utilisent et diffusent la photographie depuis le XIXe siècle. Le thème proposé pose une question directe : la France vous a offert la photographie, vous qui en êtes les gardiens, les utilisateurs, comment l’avez-vous conservée, sauvée, commandée, diffusée, valorisée du XIXe au XXIe siècle ? Cette interrogation invite à réfléchir sur le rôle des institutions tant dans la conservation et la transmission de la photographie de guerre, depuis sa production jusqu’à sa circulation, en France comme à l’international ; que dans le développement d'une ingénierie patrimoniale et d'une expertise culturelle des personnels. Des témoignages d'usagers, tels des historiens ou des journalistes, viendront enrichir la réflexion.

Este encuentro cuestiona los desafíos de la fotografía de guerra en el seno de las instituciones, tanto en Francia como a nivel internacional, a través de sus usos de producción, circulación y difusión.
Titulado "Producción, circulación, difusión. Los retos de la fotografía de guerra", este encuentro se dirige a las instituciones que conservan, utilizan y difunden la fotografía desde el siglo XIX. El tema propuesto plantea una pregunta directa: Francia les ha ofrecido la fotografía, ustedes que son sus custodios, los usuarios, ¿cómo la han conservado, rescatado, encargado, difundido y valorizado del siglo XIX al siglo XXI? Este interrogante invita a reflexionar sobre el papel de las instituciones tanto en la conservación como en la transmisión de la fotografía de guerra, desde su producción hasta su circulación, tanto en Francia como a nivel internacional; que en el desarrollo de una ingeniería patrimonial y una experiencia cultural del personal. Testimonios de usuarios, como historiadores o periodistas, enriquecerán la reflexión.
