The exhibition organized by the Archives d'Arles invites you to discover the events, big and small, that marked life in Arles at the time of the invention of photography.
Through different themes, we will discover the concerns of Arlésiens between the release of the amphitheater, opening of the lapidary museum in the old church of Sainte-Anne, the municipal school of drawing, the canal from Arles to Bouc...
The exhibition will be open for Heritage Days from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and during the opening hours of the reading room: Monday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon/1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Tuesday and Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
