Inaugurated in 1888, the building designed by the architect from Toulon Stanislas Gaudensi Allar stands out for its monumental sculpted facade, enamelled and its U-shaped plan. Today, the MAT labeled «Musée de France» and the Art Library share common missions within this same place. Following significant works, the museum opens its doors again to the public in 2021.
