The preservation of collections is one of the Ariana Museum’s main missions. Captivated by notions of conservation, Nicolas Muller (France /Switzerland, 1983) has collected discrete and fragile remains of works that were left in stored collections. His projects reveal images in counter-relief through minute and ephemeral imprints that reveal the action of time on materials.
