El Gigante Egoista

MEG's Ciné-dimanches continue to focus on three essential and topical themes: decolonisation, gender and sustainability. Documentary, fiction and animation films addressing these themes will be screened free of charge in the museum's Auditorium on several Sundays each month.

Once a month, there will be a special children's programme as part of the Ciné-dimanches Kids.

As part of FILMARcito, the children's section of the FILMAR en América Latina festival, which runs from 18 to 27 November, the film The Selfish Giant by Liliana Romero and Norman Ruiz will be screened at the MEG.

What happens when you try to change the way nature works and the order of the seasons? This Argentinian feature film, inspired by a tale of the same name by Oscar Wilde, tells the story of a selfish giant who does not like to play with children. A story about friendship, solidarity and respect for the cycles of nature.

Recommended age: from 4 years old.

Film in french.
