What’s in a gene?
What is the origin of certain trees in the garden? What is a hybrid and how do you recognise?

We will see how these questions can be answered by deciphering the DNA of plants.Several specific cases linked to our research will be presented during a visit to our garden.
Sunday Visits
On the 1st Sunday of the month, from April to December
Extend your Sunday stroll to take in the Botanical Conservatory and Gardens of Geneva and choose one or other (or both) of the visits organised on the 1st Sunday of every month. Your guide will be a botanist, horticulturist or researcher and you will discover the many different facets of your “museum”. Meet at 2 p.m. and/or 3.30 p.m. precisely, depending on the visit you have chosen, at the main entrance to the CJBG.
These visits also take place on public holidays (May Day, Whit).
