Discovery tour for children: The prince and the salmon
"Facing the environmental emergency: appointments for reflection and action": Care, repair and sustainability.
The result of a unique collaboration between Geneva-based artist Myriam Boucris of the Tohu Wa Bohu company and Alaskan Ts'msyen artists Gavin Hudson and David R. Boxley, this discovery tour offers your children the opportunity to experience, through dance and sound, a tale that evokes the relationship between the Ts'msyen and the Salmon people and reminds us of our responsibility towards our environment.
The activity is reserved for children aged 2 to 5 years old accompanied by an adult.
The activity takes place twice during the day, once from 10am to 11am and then from 11.15am to 12.15pm.
In this "Rendezvous for reflection and action" we look at the issue of care and repair. All over the world, indigenous peoples manage their environment through an ethic of care and a culture of reparation. As such, they are contributing to the achievement of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Throughout the day, various activities will be organised: a discovery visit for children, a repair café, a bicycle self-repair workshop, a discussion and film screenings. We hope that this will give us a new perspective on the objects that surround us and enable us to put into practice in our daily lives an ethic of care and repair that will allow us to act sustainably to preserve the environment.
This event takes place on the first Sunday of the month and is therefore free of charge and requires no prior registration.
