Charlotte Hodes (Great Britain, 1959) invites us to a joyful, colourful and poetic picnic, a contemporary version of Boucher’s “Fêtes galantes” or Manet’s “Déjeuner sur l’herbe”. The presence of masks and the distance between the characters are reminders of the pandemic that brutally transformed our social interactions. Fortunately, the party takes place outdoors…
