You are sporty and want to compete with Greek athletes? So take part in our historical Olympiads with your family! Body care and nutrition, outfits, techniques and training places,… Learn all about the life of the Greek athletes at the Somatophylac camp. Shows «Les athlètes des JO» at 16h and 17h30 on Saturday, at 11h, 15h and 17h on Sunday. During each show, an evocation of the religious ceremonies accompanying the processions, the tests and the awards will be presented to you. These days will also be an opportunity to discover Greek civilization through many workshops: creation of Greek theatre masks, introduction to black painting on ceramics and writing of ancient Greek, manufacture of shields of Greek fighters. And also: mythological tales for the youngest and Greek food tastings for gourmets! On Sundays only, the «Ludi circenses» workshop will allow you to discover circus games thanks to LEGO® bricks. Finally, on the 24th and 25th of April afternoon, you may come across a runner in Greek outfit and weapons in Villeneuve d'Ascq! He will probably be accompanied by children from the city’s leisure centres. Do not hesitate to encourage them!
