- Two guided tours are offered on Sunday at 11am and 3pm, led by Michèle François, in charge of the protection of historical monuments at the DRAC Occitanie
Designed by the architect Marcel Pigeire in the 1960s, this remarkable church embodies the great principles of Vatican II: a centered space, open, bathed in light. Its glulam framework, its abstract stained glass windows signed Léon Blanchet and its bold plan make it a place both spiritual and deeply architectural.
Labeled «Remarkable Contemporary Architecture», it opens its doors for free visits on the occasion of the National Days of Architecture. Let yourself be surprised by this singular work, emblematic of the renewal of religious architecture in the 20th century.
