🔎 Discover an exceptional place, nestled in the medieval castle of Tours-Saint-Laurent, classified as a historical monument: built since the Middle Ages, it was shaped in the 19th century. and adapted by Jean Lurçat to accommodate his workshops.
👩🎨 Entry into the intimacy of creation : your journey begins with the main workshop, where Lurçat, painter, ceramist and upholsterer, invented his patterns – tiles, painted doors, frescoes on joists testify to his permanent imagination.
🚪 Exceptional access to the 2nd floor, usually closed to the public: this private space, rarely revealed, reveals the artist’s personal studio and apartment, a place of emulation, essays and intimate reflections.
